This incredible “Revenge of the Jedi” poster by Drew Struzan features an ominous, blood red Darth Vader head towering over the climactic lightsaber duel. It is one of the most famous movie posters… made even more so because it was recalled from theaters. Lucas famously scrapped this design at the last possible moment. He decided that a Jedi would not attempt to seek “revenge” and went with his original title, Return of the Jedi. What to do with the posters that had already been printed? Sell the direct to fan club members of course! Now you too can own this piece of Star Wars history. PRO TIP: Beware of bootlegs. There are several different reproductions, the first of which showed up only months after the fan club sale. Some sellers have owned the reproductions so long that they are absolutely convinced of their authenticity.
