Grade: C6 Fine. Rolled, single-sided. Prior to linen-backing poster had several large tears along the top and edge wear along the right side. Now looks very fine.
This incredible French travel poster is the second printing of this classic 1934 Southern Star Cruises safari design. The modern imagery features an abstract of a giraffe, filled with the silhouettes of animals, sights from the tour, as well as a beautiful parasol-wing flying boat — possibly a Consolidated Aircraft Commodore.
