You can watch the terrifying Varla forever snapping Kirk’s arm back in this fantastic Japanese B1 poster for Russ Meyer’s iconic Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965). The poster was created especially for a Russ Meyer Film Festival, hence the stylish “rm” initials. The Festival had a very small release, making any paper exceedingly rare, particularly in this large format.

The two-tone photo adorned with nothing more than the initials is striking in its simplicity. Professional vixen Tura Satana’s wild attack is an instantly recognizable shot from the classic exploitation film—there’s no need for a title. John Waters (Polyester, Hairspray) says not only is Faster, Pussycat “the best film ever made,” but that “it ages like fine wine.” It is, simply, a bad-ass poster of bad-ass character from a bad-ass film, and rare to boot. Seriously, what more do you want?
