The “Lucky Strike” advance US 1-sheet for Pulp Fiction is hands down one of the most sought after and valuable modern film posters. Not only was the film groundbreaking (inspiring countless copycats) but the throw back pulp novel-inspired poster design is amazing as well. To top it all off, this particular poster featured a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes and the designers did not have the rights to use their logo. This poster was quickly recalled and pulled from theaters. They issued a replacement “dictionary” advance poster and then ultimately re-used the bed design for the regular poster, but blurred the logo out on the pack of cigarettes. Very few of the “Lucky Strike” advance posters made it into collectors hands and it has been highly sought after since day one.
