John Garfield grew up in poverty in Depression-era New York City, which is perhaps why his brooding, rebellious, working-class characters came across as so authentic on screen. Often the film noir bad boy, Garfield was pared with Geraldine Fitzgerald for Nobody Lives Forever, an adaptation of the pulp crime novel “I Wasn’t Born Yesterday” by W.R. Burnett.
This gorgeous Italian poster has a wonderful, bright color palette and features a passionate kiss between the leads. It would look amazing displayed with all it’s wear and tear shown proudly or restored on linen.
