The Ninth Gate was about a shady book dealer (played by Johnny Depp) in search of a rare, ancient book that holds the secret for summoning the Devil himself. Not only is this moody Japanese B1 the best poster for the film, but it also has a wonderful presentation with a combination of matte and glossy inks. The whole poster is printed in matte inks, while the bloody fingerprints are done in raised, glossy red inks which really makes the poster pop in person!
