Restoration: Linen-backed
Grade: C7 Fine to Very Fine. Folded, single-sided. Prior to linen backing this poster was in wonderful, lightly used condition. The primary flaw was having been mounted to foam core. Easily reversible adhesive and an expert restoration has addressed these flaws and the poster now appears very fine to near mint.

The Marx Brothers were a family of comedians who made audiences laugh for nearly 50 years, first in vaudeville, then on Broadway and eventually on the big screen. Night at the Opera was one of their biggest hits of the 1930s — so much so that it was re-released just after WWII when audiences started to once again crave comedy. This wonderful poster boasts a playful design with great caricature portraits of the Marx Brothers by Al Hirschfeld. Comedy fans take note!
