French illustrator “Rojac” came up with a gorgeous design for this classic Cary Grant and Irene Dunne screwball romantic comedy. In the film Grant’s character is torn between two women — his 1st wife, played by Dunne, who was lost at sea 7 years ago, but who has unexpectedly returned the same day as he had her legally declared dead so he could marry Gail Patrick! Rojac’s masterful design playfully depicts his predicament. Also look for a great supporting performance from Randolph Scott in a tarzan-esque roll who was shipwrecked along side Dunne and who is the source of much jealousy. Grant is one of the finest comedic actors in the history of film and he was on top of his game in My Favorite Wife.
