This was the movie that set the mold for the modern summer blockbuster. While during this time frame it was common for other countries to use their own art for film posters, Roger Kastel’s iconic shark design was so impactful that it was used near universally (only a few exceptions in Eastern European). In fact, the original shark image was first designed for the paperback edition of Peter Benchley’s novel while Kastel was employed with Bantam Books — Universal was so taken with the design that it was used unchanged.
This Italian 4-foglio is one of the biggest ways to experience Roger Kastel’s amazing original art. This poster stands an incredible 6.5 feet tall and would make a statement in any room!
