Grade: C6 Fine. Folded, single-sided. Theater used poster with moderate handling/surface/fold wear. Would grade even higher if not for an accumulation of small flaws including cross fold separation, several small edge tears and paper chips, and the paper having yellowed somewhat with age.

The Haunting is a gem of a horror film. In fact Martin Scorsese ranked it 1st on his list of 11 scariest horror films of all time! The film is also groundbreaking for it’s early portrayal of lesbianism on film as simply a “normal” trait for the already strong character of Theodora (who goes by Theo in the film). It is unfortunately that so many earlier writers and filmmakers used homosexuality to malign their characters as predatory, duplicitous, or defective in some way. This Italian poster is incredibly rare and is stunning in person at 6 and half feet tall!
