David Cronenberg’s The Fly is one of very few remakes that manage to improve upon their original source material. The Original Fly (1958) with Vincent Price is great little post-war technicolor horror film that explores interesting questions of human’s relationship with science and technology. However, it wasn’t until Cronenberg ramped up the gore and practical effects in his remake that the concept became truly terrifying.
This great Polish B1 poster has a very digital, modern feel despite being created using old-school analog design methods. This particular example is rolled.
