There are few films in Spielberg’s catalog that are so wacky and farcical as his 1979 disasterpiece, 1941! It was a mess of a story and even bigger mess of a film–seriously, the Japanese pick Hollywood for their invasion?–but it was saved in the eyes of many by an ensemble cast who clearly had a fun time shooting the picture. This Japanese B1 (28×40″) is perhaps as crazy as the film itself–trying to piggy back off Spielberg’s other hits including Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Jaws. This rare poster is a must-have for Spielberg fans!
