This poster has an amazing simple aesthetic that appeals to the humanist in all of us. Solidarity movements — those voicing support for the oppressed peoples and countries of the world — were particularly strong in Eastern Bloc countries during the cold war. For all the faults of those regimes, their quest for a more fair and equitable treatment of Earth’s citizens remains a compelling message. This uplifting black and white poster would make a statement on any wall!
