Polish posters have been recognized as having some of the most innovative and artistic designs in the industry since as early as the 1950s. This included major international exhibits around the western world, despite happening during the height of the Cold War. In 1966, they launched the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw to celebrate their nation’s prize export. The amazing design on this Polish B1 is from Janusz Stobiecki for the 1973 Polish Poster Biennial. A rare and striking poster!
