Aliens was James Cameron’s sequel to Ridley Scott’s break out sci-fi horror hit from 1979. And while Scott’s film only featured a single xenomorph stalking the crew — Jaws style — Cameron was brought on to ramp up the action in the sequel. Fresh off of his own break out hit, The Terminator, Cameron went big in pretty much every way possible — a faster pace, endless aliens, a platoon of colonial marines, and much, MUCH more firepower! The end result was a modern sci-fi horror classic!
