Restoration: Linen-backed
Grade: C7-C8 Fine to Very Fine. Folded, single-sided. Prior to restoration this was a theater-used poster with minimal handling/surface/fold wear. Would grade much higher if not for one clean pin hole in each corner, a bit of cross-fold separation, and some writing on the verso that does not bleed through to the front. The restoration required very little work and now presents as very fine to near mint from normal viewing distances.

This teaser poster is incredibly effective at drawing attention of the viewer. More (1969) was a unflinchingly counterculture movie with frank depictions of drug use and partying. The film was heavily censored in France upon its release. Famed film critic Roger Ebert would later write that More was “a weird, freaky movie about two hedonistic kids who destroy themselves with drugs… The message seems to be: Sure, speed kills, but what a way to go.”
